EMPREX DVD WRITER DRIVER

In my opinion, killer bang for the buck! BS, the problem is with the drive. If there's a problem with this unit, I haven't found it yet. Rated this writer 9 of Had for over two months.

That utility emprfx just fine with this drive too and they recommend using it, but did not say so with the original drive documentation. Things went pretty well.

I had bought it at Fry's, but didn't get around to returning it. After each zone the write speed is increased.

DVD-r QC media no problem so far. I'm new at burning DVD's, so I think there's a bit of a learning curve as far as software usage goes. Going to try Sony 16x and unpgrade Nero, see how it goes. BTW, i forgot a rating If it can't be found then Live Update cannot check the firmware and therefore cannot upgrade it.

Marked down from higher priced sticker. Got some Maxxel 4x dvd-r media. It was an okay burner in the begining. You can connect and disconnect devices while the computer is running.

I have made a few coasters along emptex way due to some of the new DVD's that Shrink has encountered errors with, but that has nothing to do with the burner. Attach the USB 2. Drive made awful grinding noises and power faulted. Took almost 3 months but I am finally able to do put my writer to full use without worrying or hoping for the best.

Make sure you upgrade your firmware i can't stress that enough. Overall can't complain with the quality for the price.
